Plainview Hospital became a member of Northwell Health in 1994. It is a superb, acute-care community hospital that treats medical, surgical and gynecologic patients. With 204 beds and over 700 physicians on the medical staff, Plainview Hospital offers a scope of inpatient facilities and selected outpatient services, including wound care, hyperbaric outpatient oncology services, hospice care, cardiac catheterization and pediatric urology surgery.
Excellent treatment is provided to patients with heart disease, cancer, cardiovascular problems, gastroenterological disorders and much more. The Ambulatory Pavilion caters to patients who need same-day surgery or endoscopic procedures.
